Flooded!

We came home from Church today to find that because of frozen ground, large snow piles and an afternoon of heavy rain, there was no place for the water to drain and it ended up filling a window well and flooding into our basement!  It was a soggy mess!  We pulled out all of the furniture in the bedroom and closets and then pulled up all of the carpet and padding to get it outside.  We then spent another hour or two mopping up and using our carpet cleaner to suck up as much water as possible in the family room carpet.  Hopefully, our insurance will kick in and we can get the new carpet Becky wanted.
