Corn Grows: Week 2

...or Corn doesn't grow (yet), as the case may be? I'll post a breaking news update if we spot any action this week.


At least our new wisteria is blooming on the trellis I built last year. (They sometimes can take up to 5 years to bloom.) I can't wait for it to fill in over the entire trellis and then bloom! We've also spotted a warble (?) of Laurenti Buntings that frequent our feeder every morning and evening. No need for owls here!

Is this new wisteria? I thought your wisteria was dead? I remember that at dad's party a few years ago you were lamenting your near dead wisteria.....Really you have such a green thumb and boy, I"m anxious for that corn to grow. Very anxious.
