Corn Grows Week 11

I decided to take the photo from the other side this week. Corn is doing VERY well. Tassles have emerged and ears of corn have formed on almost all of the stalks. (Those of you who doubted my little emerging ears last week can now eat your words.) It's amazing to me how quickly the ears form and emerge. You'll remember that last week's ear was a small leaf. This week's ears are like this:

We also had our first harvest of green beans this week. There is nothing better than fresh, steamed green beans that have a bit of butter and salt on them!

Tomatoes are formed, but still green, although we have picked a few cherry tomatoes.
