Things aren't always what they seem

Never trust a photo these days. You can do just about anything you want with photo-editing software. One of the items on my To Do list today was to prepare our passport photos for our upcoming trip to Cancun. Photo places want $8/person to take the pictures, so last week after church, we took everyone's picture. I then had to size them and prepare to print them at Inkleys (for $0.21/person!)

When I showed Becky the pictures we had taken and asked her to select the best ones, she was disappointed that Daniel had taken his tie off and Anna's hair was pulled back. She wanted to retake them again after church tomorrow. This is one area where we differ: I want to do things just to get them done and off my list...even if they aren't perfect; she prefers to make sure everything is perfect and and even do things over and over again if necessary until it is perfect. This is where Photoshop comes in handy.

I took Anna's picture and added in the sides of Becky's hair. (If you look closely, you'll see the same curls, coloring, etc.)

I took Daniels picture and added the tie from my picture. (The tie is wider on Daniel because his shirt collar was open and I had to stretch it to fit.)

I included Sara's picture just because I thought it was a good picture of her. (No photo editing required!)

Troy--
You never cease to amaze me! Next time I need a passport photo, I'll have you do it. That's so neat how you added hair to Anna and a tie for Daniel. All of you look really good in your pictures. I don't think I've ever had a good passport picture, and it seems like I've had to pay $16.
Keep up the good work!

Where were you last year when I needed you???!!! And the corn, oh the corn!!! I care about the corn!!! And I'm so happy to see potatoes. I had no idea what potato plants looked like. Learn something new everyday! Too bad you didn't come to the Hene parade. I turns around and comes BACK. You see it twice and get double the amount of candy. We scored about 40 otter pops!

You do realize that someone is going to steal your identities off your computer now that you have posted your official pass port photos on here - and you can't prove a thing because your photos will be exactly the same and so technically you could be doing drugs somewhere in Columbia and when they arrest your twin you will have no leg to stand on because the proof of your photos is on your blog. Yikes!

It's Juana. I'm just trying to figure out dad's blogging comment problems. So you can delete this.
