Summer Fun

As this summer winds down (only 3 weeks until school starts), here's a quick run down of the summer highlights:

We had a fire above our house:

We had a family reunion with Becky's family at Bear Lake:

(Sara wanted to create an "Awkward Family Photo")

I went to Girls Camp with Anna (Lily Lake in the Uintas):

Anna successfully climbed the rock "wall" chimney at Bro. Page's cabin:

I dropped my nephew Nick (Shari's) off at the MTC:

And yesterday, our friend Andrea (from Massachusetts) stopped by for a few days and we went on a hike in the Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake City. It is the peak wildflower season right now and the wildflowers were incredibly beautiful. It was like a carpet of wildflowers everywhere you looked.

Cecret Lake at the end the trail (yes, that is not a misspelling):

Anna was very good at finding "chairs" to rest on:

My favorite picture of Anna because it shows what a beautiful young lady she is becoming:

Well, maybe she still has a bit of long greens in her:

Amazing wildflowers:

Anna is really growing up - even is she does have a little of the long greens left in her. (For the record, I've never outgrown mine...). And, what beautfiul flowers. How come I've never been up there? I've never even heard of lake Crecet. Pretty cool. And, fires scare me.
