week for the corn update. It's doing well but came up spotty in a few
areas. I tried to replant the holes, but now they will ba a couple
weeks behind. Peas have podded!

We are Troy, Rebecca, Sara, Daniel and Anna. Troy is a Landscape Architect, Rebecca teaches Spanish 3 and ESL at a Jr. High. Sara and Daniel are students at different universities and Anna is a 7th grader.

Oh corn, sigh. Our corn was looking so great it migth have embarrassed you . . . alas, it turns out that chickens LOVE to peck and eat poor beginning corn stalks. Our corn looks plain awful now, like it went through a big hail storm or something!
Well, it kinda looks like weeds so you might not want to let me near them:). Yay for podded peas. And you may be happy to note my day lily has podded (that's what I'm going to call the little flower that's starting to grow up tall).
Sadly, I am probably going to miss week 5. I will be anxiously awaiting my return so I can see how the corn did in my absence!
