Peas have also podded, and I've decided that even as good as fresh peas taste, they are a pain in the neck to harvest. Maybe I need a peaviner machine like Gayle used to have on the farm.

I so wish I had stopped to get a "compare corn" picture. Oh well...I think yours may be better. I am happy to see the healthy thriving plants. Too bad I didn't start an evening primrose and day lily growing blog last spring. Don't you worry...there's always next year!
